我国瓷器发展到清乾隆时期,可以说是集历代名窑之大成,制作了许多精巧无比的瓷器。制瓷中心景德镇,荟萃了一代能工巧匠,有“工匠来八方,器成天下走”之说。御窑厂规模庞大,在督陶官的管理下,每年烧造瓷器都在数十万件左右。烧出的瓷器无论是精美奇巧的造型,还是五彩缤纷的釉色和丰富多彩的纹饰,都堪称为一代之奇。

 

  从瓶的造型而论,有单体瓶、双联瓶、三联瓶、四联瓶以及七联瓶、八联瓶等,有陈设于桌面、有壁瓶、有吊瓶等。除此之外,还有象生瓷瓶。象生瓷是指用瓷器塑造出植物、动物及干鲜果品等形象的瓷器。如镇江博物馆藏乾隆官窑冬青釉带盖葫芦瓶,高36厘米,口径2.8厘米,底径6.2厘米。器呈葫芦形,有盖,盖为火焰状器圆唇,直颈,束腰,平底内凹。全器施冬青釉,釉面平整润滑,釉色滋润。底内有“大清乾隆年制”三行六字篆书款
